Cliff Lewis, the founder of Cliff Lewis Builders, is more than a seasoned professional in the custom home builds, custom remodels and turf business – he's a Rockwall native, a husband, and a father to three boys. A proud graduate of Rockwall High School and an alumnus of Texas Tech, Cliff has dedicated over 25 years to perfecting his craft. What sets him apart is not just his expertise but his down-to-earth nature and genuine commitment to treating people the right way. For Cliff, the most important aspect is building relationships. It's this philosophy that has become the cornerstone of our successful venture, creating homes and spaces that truly reflect the vision and values of our clients.

PARTNER & STRATEGIST

Danny Hamblin is a partner at Cliff Lewis Builders and Lawn & Golf Turfs of DFW, where he oversees project operations, budgets, and billing to ensure smooth execution and outstanding client experiences. With over a decade of hands-on construction experience from his family’s plumbing business, Danny brings deep industry knowledge and a passion for quality workmanship. A former professional baseball player with the Oakland A’s organization, Danny also co-founded the Texas Oilers, a youth select baseball program serving 450+ athletes. He’s a proud husband to Taylor and father to Brees and Jade. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and family time.

SUPERINTENDENT

Building has been part of Reed Lewis's life since childhood. Growing up, he watched his father work as a custom home builder, learning the trade simply by being around it. During summer breaks from Texas Christian University, where he earned his undergraduate degree, and later while completing his master's in management at Southern Methodist University, Reed worked alongside his father on job sites. Those summers turned into something more than a job — they became a passion, and by the time he finished his education, Reed knew building homes was the career he wanted to pursue.

For over two years now, Reed has brought that hands-on foundation to Cliff Lewis Builders, working directly alongside his uncle Cliff and Danny. He combines a builder's eye for craftsmanship and detail with a business background sharpened by his master's in management, giving him a well-rounded approach to overseeing projects — from the practical demands of construction to the planning and organization that keep a build on track. It's a skill set built on years of watching and learning, now put to work every day on the job site.

SUPERINTENDENT

Ryan Ross is a Superintendent at Cliff Lewis Builders, where he oversees the full scope of each project—from scheduling and budgets to subcontractor coordination and client communication—to deliver a smooth build and an outstanding customer experience.

Ryan's roots in construction run deep, starting in high school pouring concrete and framing houses. He graduated from Texas State University in 2014 and began his career in residential new home construction, managing a diverse portfolio of high-end projects.

Born in Houston and raised in Galveston before heading to San Marcos for college, Ryan has also pursued a lifelong passion for music. He fronts the Ryan Ross Band, writing and recording original Texas Country music and performing alongside acts such as Shenandoah, Cory Morrow, Josh Weathers and more. 

He's a proud husband to Ellie — together 13 years, married 8 — and father to their four-year-old son, Brooks, plus two dogs, Costa and Kira. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys the outdoors: hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, and camping with his family.
